Kanye West

He just cant considered as another rapper. This man has created original music. Hats off. Amongst the current talent, Kanye definitely comes out more egostical. But friends, artists, creative artists come with their own sense of sensibilities, I guess we can let go this aspect.

The 'heard them say' number with Maroon 5, lead singer is work of a genius. Well written, but more unique is its music composition. The piano keys are rather simple. But isn't simplicity the essence of beauty?

diamonds are forever', a dig into the Sierra Lionne mines, contemporary to our times, yet forgotten, reflects the artists maturity in going beyond the rather mundane aspects.

Late Registration is a good album. Well done effort. btw the Gold-Digger no. With Jamie Foxx, is an exhibition of what collaboration can do. Keeping the things in which one excels to oneself, then create a blend, which delivers a much more powerful punch. Lyrics could have been better. But friends, isn't the number catchy?

I keep on Falling - Alicia Keys

This would be the first hit single by Alicia Keys. A good song of course needs to be backed by sound lyrics, music composition, vocal delivery etc. This one scored on all fronts. Alicia keys vocal chords takes the pitch to higher levels. The vocal just before...’never felt this way' is a rather new way to approach the following lyrics. By the end, the orchestration lifts the performance and leaves one to experience the lyrics.

I keep on falling
In and out
Of Love
With you...

The music video has a story attached. The protagonist here is in love with the man jailed for an offence, he would not have willingly been party too.

Btw, this is my first dig on R & B. I could not have started with any other soul singer in today's context.

Why does Music soothe, caress? Why does it make you cry? What makes some notes sound great? What makes us call some songs bad? There is no one path to answer these questions, but there is one thing. That somewhere music touches your heart, our soul and as much as it can excite us, it has this extraordinary ability to change an environment. It would be ridiculous for us to claim that we understand the nuances of music. But we can humbly state that we love music. And the writings here are our outpourings. It is said only judges can judge. The right to comment otherwise wouldn’t exist. We are not judges; neither has any rights divined upon us!As they say love too has many expressions. If anywhere you see this thread; it is because you deserved to see it!
